Angela Dunning, Minnows

Angela is Head Teacher of our Minnows class and has worked with all age groups at Coastal Kids for eight years. She especially loves our toddlers! Angela has a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and is Level 7 on MRTQ. The supportive, helpful staff is one thing Angela likes about Coastal Kids; another is the feeling of success when a child’s eyes light up when they accomplish something new! When not at Coastal Kids, Angela especially enjoys spending time with her family and going on many adventures.

She has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Southern Maine and is currently taking courses through the University of Maine, Farmington, SPARC program to earn 282 certification. Sara is a MRTQ level 7 teacher and also serves as Coastal Kids’ certified Safety-Care Trainer. Her previous work experience includes human services work and teaching at a therapeutic preschool. When not relaxing with a cup of coffee, a good book, and her dogs, Sara enjoys working with her amazing and supportive coworkers at Coastal Kids. Sara is impressed by her students’ kindness, curiosity, creativity, and the love they share every day.

She enjoys running, cooking, being a mom, and helping her students eagerly learn and grow in their knowledge, processing, and social skills while working on developmentally appropriate lessons.
